Oh, this is hard. I may even combine two of them to create single spell, called "Power Word: Humor". Just watch Elan in the first panel of 307.

Well, I'm going with 306, tho. It's a nice exploration of the game mechanics for good laughs here.

306. I know how (s)he feels.

Eesh, have to pick between 306 and 309....

I'm going to have to pick 309. "I think 'rdjy' means salad." and "Can I have your croutons"?

None of the real howlers here, but I guess I will try 310

I'll vote for 306, I always found that one pretty funny.

Hmmmm... either #306 or #309. 306, but not by much.

I like 307 (and so begins another conversation... is really quotable), but I love "Elan, I'm in love with you" "Oooo! They have calamari". I'm going with #309, for the combination of plot, backstory, and great jokes.

Yeah, I'm going with #310.

Almost went with 308, but the former was brilliantly corny

I vote -1 for #306. It isn't really that funny, cause it's explained on WotC that it's a immense spell of focusing and chanelling that just has a simple verbal activation. hence the word can't be said over and over.

I vote -1 for #306.So...you're giving a quarter-vote to 307, 308, 309, and 310?

I think I'm going to go with 307, here, just for Haley's great communication skills. But I could probably be talked out of that... none of these strike me as extraordinarily good nor bad.

Sword Envy. (308)

306. Even without this being about game mechanics this is a funny conversation you might expect from a wizard.

309 for me. I like all of them in this series, but 309 is full of revelations about Haley, and Elan is so clueless... Definitely my favourite of the 5.

A good-but-not-outstanding set of strips.
While I was snickering along with most of them, only 306 had me laughing out loud, so gets the vote.

(Skip to the end of this post for my vote) Not outstanding, but certainly a great set of strips. I am going to deliberately waste your time by going into unnecessary detail on why I like and/or dislike each and every strip in this set.

306: Awesome mockery of the rules and definitely an L-O-L strip.
307: "PUPPETS!" plus "negating rational thought in a 20-foot radius" plus Haley dragging Elan away made this strip pretty funny.
308: One of the only strips that has not one D&D reference or puncture in the fourth wall, not to mention great dialogue and punchline.
309: "Ooo! They have calamari! Actually, I don't think I like calamari... I'll get the chicken. I think 'rdjy' means 'salad'. Look! The salt and pepper shakers are fighting! Pow! Bam! Don't you think our waitress is pretty, Haley? Can I have your croutons?" Elan has half a dozen riotous lines in this strip, not to mention major plot advancement for Haley and a pretty waitress.
310: Great dialogue and mockery of the rules, pretty funny and advances the plot.

My order, from least favorite to favorite: 307, 310, 308, 306, 309.

309 is my final verdict.

I think 306 will win though.

I'm going to have to go with 309. Elan's one-liners are just so hilariously separated from the serious issue at hand, (Haley's dilemma,) that I fell out of my chair laughing. (And my chair has arm rests, so there.)

(Oh look, the salt and pepper shakers are fighting!)

Well, this was a tough pick between 306 and 310 for me.

They both play nicely on D&D rules jokes. However, putting D&D rules in a romantic perspective is pretty nifty, so I'll put my vote in for that one.

310 it is!

Looks like 306 is winning, and being stuck between that and 310, I'm voting for 310. I love the dnd romance, it's hilarious. (Feebleminded...heh)

Its still one word. Heck, I've fit 26 words into this response alone, I'm sure V could fit more than one word on a page, let alone 7

I think all of the five are pretty good, even very good.

For me it was a close one between 306 and 307. After much deliberation:

I vote 306.
