See that (Ex) up there? That means the ability is extraordinary, which means it is not (Su) supernatural, and also not (Sp) spell-like.

Rage is fun in that it is not a spell like ability so much as it is an ability that is like a spell.

That's fair, that's fair. Though I also think that a spell being like the ability does not preclude the ability from thereafter also being like the spell.

Ahh. Nope. Not unless you picked it up as a spell I s'pose.

You could always get a badger/dire badger animal companion which has a native rage ability.
