So I found this (http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/fey/20030315a) today and I think it may be the first arcane caster I've seen that runs off of Wisdom. Do you guys know of any other classes that do this?
Relatedly: how do we abuse this? The first thing that came to mind was maybe easy SAD Mystic Theurging but that probably wouldn't work too well. The other thing that came to mind was a Wis based Enlightened Fist build, but that still probably works better with Carmendine Monk/Kung Fu Genius or Ascetic Mage.

I think there's a Dragonlance feat that lets you switch your casting stat to something else? But other than that, I think Dark Hunter is the only Wis-based arcane caster.

As far as what you can do with it... Iron Chef XVIII (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?186097-Iron-Chef-Optimization-Challenge-in-the-Playground-XVIII) used it as a secret ingredient. I don't recall any stand-out builds, although apparently anthropomorphic owl ninjas is a thing?

Hmm yeah Dragonlance has Academic and Dynamic Priest, but those only apply to Divine Casting, and only to bonus spells at that.
Dang! Iron Chef has really done it all huh.
Maybe Trickster Spellthief 6/Ur Priest 2/Dark Hunter 1/Mystic Theurge X? Not sure exactly what that accomplishes but it could be done. Master Spellthief to get you almost full Steal Spell progression, up to 2nd level bard & sorc/wiz spells that Spellthief allows, 9th level Cleric casting, and full Dark Hunter casting.

Lost Tradition (Bastards and Bloodlines) changes your casting stat to anything else, even the mystical constitution-based spell caster.

SAD Theurging was already possible with Archivist/Wizard, so I don't think all that much would change (unless Cleric/X is actually better, but I digress).

Yeah I mean, unless you reaaaally want some domains or DMM business, Archivist/Wizard is strictly better. The best use I can see is like... I dunno, Monk + Ninja with Zen Archery for as much Wis synergy as possible... but again, for what purpose?

Justice of Weald and Woe from Champions of ruin is a class suffering from a few problems in editing.
The first is that it does not specify explicitly whether it casts arcane or divine spells (probably divine) so it might be another addition.
Also its DCs and bonus spells are based off of Wisdom, but if you assume the footnote on its chart to be correct (which it almost certainly isn't) then it uses Intelligence to determine what it can cast.

If you're open to Pathfinder material, the Empyreal bloodline (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/sorcerer/archetypes/paizo-sorcerer-archetypes/wildblooded/mutated-bloodlines-paizo/empyreal/) for wildblooded sorcerers switches them over to Wis.

You can also just make your monk side Int-based via a couple of means (e.g. Kung-Fu Genius, Carmendine, Ascetic Psion).

Huh! Neato. I'm not familiar enough with PF but that's neat.

Yeah I actually already mentioned that in the thread. Huh! I've known about Tashalatora for years but this may be the first time I've seen Ascetic Psion.
