Just what is in the title. Throw in ANY idea. Any class. Any rulebook. Give me everything you know to build the most edgy creature to have ever walked the lands of the fantasy realm.

A little bit more of context follow.
It's mostly an inside joke for my campaign, but the Rogue/telflammar shadowlord of my brother in my campaign is renowed to be "edgy as ****". We made a "not-canonical and comical" session today, on 1st of April in which I made appear a misterious man followed literally by shadows, ninjas and fangirls.

Now, the rogue above said entered the fanclub and my idea was to... you know, make this guy appear for real in-universe somehow, mostly because such a stupid idea gave me an idea for a future sidequest based on the background of the Teflammar Shadowlords.

But it's just an idea, meanwhile I am talking with my brother about the possible build of "Edgy Mc Edgy". Throw any idea please.

Your getting the idea of edge wrong. The edge doesn't come from some race/class combo, true edge comes from inside. For example a Necromancer that raises the undead so he can have buddies to talk to isn't edgy but a necromancer that accidentally killed him parents because of his inner darkness is edgy.

I tried to introduce taint into my horror campaign but all my players kept snickering whenever I said "taint". Needless to say it was less "edgy" and more "immature/embarrassing".

I know, that's edgy. But you know, a necromancer is standard edgy. A rogue/swordsage/drow who shouts his moves while crying is another and different kind of edgy

Not sure if this is 3.5 or Pathfinder, but if it’s the latter and 3pp is on the table, then a Harbinger from Path of War with the Edgelord archetype was literally made for this.

tiefling dhampir harbinger/inquisitor/soul weaver with lichling archetype tristalt who dual wields katanas, armored coat for armor.

Their backstory is that when they were five, their parents were killed....by themselves, because those parents were possessed by demons and were making all the rest of the village burn down through mind magic, so they had to kill his parents to stop them because they had no way to exorcise them, then kill the rest of the village to make sure the enchanted villagers didn't burn down the rest of the forest, then were picked up by inquisitors with a single grim tear in their eye who saluted them for doing what was necessary being a Hard Person who made the Hard Choice then took them away to learn how to do more of that in their cathedrals full of imprisoned demons that they use to train their recruits as only the real thing can be sure to truly make a truly good fighter against them, with the final test being possessed by a demon then crushing them with pure willpower and not even looking at the explosion. they then a black wide brimmed hat with a blood red feather as their signature clothing to set them apart and isolate them from the people they protect so that they don't get attached to the people who might get possessed by demons and thus have to purge with magically created diseases so that their souls may be saved from eternal damnation and thus not have the iron will to not kill the people he protects to save them from a fate worse than death, and must meditate daily in front of a succubus trying to tempt him to give in but he never does because he is a badass but must never ever have sex which he secretly angsts about while resisting the urge to confide this to a demon of deception trying to manipulate him by taking on the form of innocent cute people and asking him whats wrong and showing concern during his daily other form of training until he is such an iron-hard dude that he silently carry out his duty without showing weakness ever, until he finally achieves the ultimate edge and kills the person he falls in love with at first sight as a preemptive precaution to make sure she never knows his love and thus never experiences fates worse than death of his own weakness to succumb to love and knows he will forever be an outcast for his actions by common villagers wielding pitchforks saying he is evil for his actions but they will never understand, yet he protects them by killing them anyways even if no one will ever understand why.

Half Drow/Half-Fiend Vampire is probably a good start. Make him Chaotic Good because he is simultaneously rebelling against his dark and oppressive upbringing AND ALSO a rebel who cannot be constricted by the laws of contemporary society.

If he wears a trench coat (especially if it's a pseudo-medieval setting) and dual-wields one silver-plated/one meteoric iron Katana, you get bonus points.

Book of Vile Darkness has human sacrifice rules based on religious knowledge checks. One of the benefits you can get is limited wish and wish (the latter only once though).

A Thrallherd can use these rules to cast limited wish at-will as a standard action by sacrificing his herd members. Quite effective and edgy as heck.

Well, Telflamar Shadowlord can certainly be pretty darn edgy! It's what I had in mind until you mentioned that this was the class that actually inspired you!

Anyway, while mechanics are useful, RP and a well written backstory is what makes a character more or less edgy, whatever that means to you. :)

Some other ideas:

Paladin of Tyrany 3/Hexblade 2/Ur Priest+ with Pride domain (via catalogues of enlightenment or some other way)
You are a heavily armored dark knight with a force of personality so strong that you laugh off anything that requires a saving throw. Your ultimate goal is to murder the gods after you slowly drain them of their power.

Cleric 4/Crusader 1/Ruby Knight Vindicator 7+
Wee Jas is a bad-ass goddess of magic and death. Her "Inscrutable and mysterious" knight-assassins can do any job that needs to be done. You can pretty much be batman flavor-wise. Extra actions are always nice mechanics-wise.

Edge-to-edge, Harbinger can't be beat. Short range teleportation at will for those "nothin' personnel, kid" (grammar preserved), cool maneuver names to shout, and access to an archetype that is explicitly named "Edgelord", wields katanas and gets AC bonuses from wearing a coat. Did I mention that it also gets its' maneuvers from "communing with inner darkness"? Nobody is as edgy by raw concept. It's actually harder to build a Harbinger who's a reasonable normal person who just does this stuff because of some reason that doesn't really affect their personality.

Shadar-Kai, from Fiend Folio.

"Shadow Fey ... A race of bitter, determined folk whose souls are poisoned by shadow... Many shadar-kai favor a variety of piercings and tattoos... made a pact with a dark power of the Plane of Shadow to cast the world into an endless twilight ... every member of the race is engaged in a lifelong struggle to stave off inevitable doom..."

Then there's the gal-ralan, which makes them constantly in pain and literally staples their soul to their body while on the Material Plane.

Make it an orphan Warlock/Necromancer. Not sure how you could cram in more "edgy" than that.

Daelkyr Halfblood is another good race if you want to edge it up, marked from birth by the corruption of Xoriat and often serving its evil will. They're disliked by a great many races, and you can steer into the skid entering something like fleshwarper or impure prince.

Blackguard, Blighter, and Ronin are the trinity of classes for fallen base classes that violated their code of conduct. You can make that sort of narrative easily very edgy. For Blackguard, Shadowbane Inquisitor in between can be a particular stripe of fall story for a character constantly pushing at the boundaries instead of falling abruptly.

Thats why you don't go full edge. It'll wreck your ability to be rounded something fierce!

The paragraph was a joke, but in the sense that it becomes clear that the demons are conditioning the guy to basically reject all things positive and good that could help him through his pain or recover and has basically become a paranoid guy who slaughters everyone preemptively and is thus basically the demons pawn by now, and thus helping the very monsters he faces.

Paladin. Obligatory link: Powder Keg of Justice (https://1d4chan.org/wiki/Powder_Keg_of_Justice)

Seriously: the whole “falling” mechanic is baked in and a more intrinsic part of the Paladin than any other class (even, say, Druids and Clerics have a much lighter/more vague version of “lose your powers for doing the wrong thing”). That’s edge.
