A character is playing a psychic warrior who took Metamorphosis through Expanded Knowledge. He likes to use Metamorphosis to become size category huge, then use Expansion by two sizes to become Colossal. In this form, his reach is 30 ft. He is usually size category small (a gnome). If he tries to attack into an antimagic field, what does it look like?

By RAW? Nothing.

A creature doesn't need to enter another space to make a melee attack. The gnome can make his attacks from his own squares without interacting with the AMF.

Ok, suppose the antimagicked creature grapples the gnome (currently a colossal-sized giant). The gnome's two feet are 30 feet apart, so the antimagic field does not reach both feet. The last line of Antimagic Field reads:

Should a creature be larger than the area enclosed by the barrier, any part of it that lies outside the barrier is unaffected by the field.

So, what does this mean for the gnome?

I'd make it simple and say the gnome winds up gnome size in whatever square the grappler initiated the grapple. I'd figure it would look something like the leg would shrink to a gnome leg, pulling the torso and head. After that, the rest of the gnome would follow.
