I'm trying to understand the pricing of the Singing Sword from Swords and Silence p. 55.

It costs 127855 gp. It's a +2 Dancing Longsword, so that's 72315 gp, leaving 55540 gp. It has sense motive ranks 10, which is 5000 gp, and can Detect Law at will, which is 7200 gp, so we have 43340 gp left as far as I can tell.

I am trying to understand, how are those 43.340 gp split up between the following:

Int 11, Wis 19, Cha 15
Telepathy
Grants Blind Fight feat
Haste Owner 1/day for 10 rounds
Grants +6 enhancement bonus on Perform (Sing)

Any help much appreciated.

Song and Silence is a 3.0 book, so a 3.0 SRD is at http://www.dragon.ee/30srd/

A masterwork longsword is 315 gp.
Dancing costs a +4 bonus, bringing it to +6 total for 72,000 gp.

That leaves 55,540 gp for the other effects.

In 3.0 the intelligent item abilities aren't itemized, there's a flat price for X primary abilities and Y extraordinary powers.
Sense Motive 10 ranks is one primary ability.
Detect [opposing alignment] at will is a second primary ability.
Blind-Fight is a third primary ability.
Haste 1/day is an extraordinary power.
Thus we have a price of 55,000 gp for two ability scores at 2d6+11 and one at 3d6, speech and telepathy (and the ability to read), three primary abilities, and one extraordinary ability.

The 3.0 skill bonuses on items is Bonus squared x 20 gp, so that +6 Perform is 720 gp. This only functions for a Bard, and is limited to Perform (Sing), 540 gp is 75% of 720 gp.

That gives us the total market price of 127,855 gp for that item.
