Paladin - Oath Spells

Very easy question, and one that I suspect will have been answered before...

Playing a game on roll20. Our Paladin has Oath Spells which appear to be cantrips. Is this correct?!

I thought the Oath spells are 'prepared spells' that a Paladin knows, on top of any (for ease) 1st level spells. casting an 'oath' spell still uses a slot? Otherwise, they would be very OP?!

Oath spells still use the appropriate levelled spell slots when cast.
