As above. If you have a magical +1 bow which is to hit and damage does it allow your arrows to hit magical creatures since it gives magical +1 to damage?

Or do you need magical arrows or either

I think either a magical bow, or magic ammo would both work to bypass the resistance/immunity to non-magical damage.

Isn't imbueing a small amount in of magic into every arrow how magic bows grant that +x to attack and damage rolls in the first place?

Yes indeed.

Hopefully since magic arrows are gone after each hit

You don't need a magic bow to hit creatures with resistance or immunity to non-magical weapon damage. But, both a magic bow or separate magic ammunition do indeed bypass the damage resistance or immunity, and deal their damage normally to those creatures.

Arrows fired by a Magical Bow become Magical until they hit a target (with the bow's properties).

In the case of Magical Arrows, they Stack. You probably think it's Overpowered, and it is, but the reason is simple: Once you fire a Magical Arrow, it's discharged.

Since being an Archer needs more Bookeeping than a Sword and Board Fighter, 5e has balanced Archery into being the most Damaging form of combat, and this extends to magical Weapons as well.

That said, if your DM sees it otherwise (possibly as a houserule), it's up to him to decide.

This has been added to the DMG.
Magic Weapons (p. 140). The section ends with a new paragraph: “If a magic weapon has the ammunition property, ammunition fired from it is considered magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.”

That's correct. Also, the Arcane Archer gives it as a feature, regardless if you have a magic bow or magic ammunition.

Magic Arrow
At 7th level, you gain the ability to infuse arrows with magic. Whenever you fire a nonmagical arrow from a shortbow or longbow, you can make it magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage. The magic fades from the arrow immediately after it hits or misses its target.
