So ive been watching the aforementioned anime and i find Ainsworth's power set to be interesting. Hes a mage who is effectively a living shadow, he can shape-shift into various things (a large dog like thing, a massive musclebound demon, a literal pool of shadow that shoots thorns), he uses thorns as his primary attack (the show is fairly nonviolent so it doesnt happen often), and he can hide in peoples shadows.
Im thinking Sorcerer (as he doesnt have much in the way of spell selection and his casting seems partially innate anyway) with a fair selection of Transmutation effects and general BFC. Prestige wise i was thinking Escalation Mage, but im not sure if thats gonna quite work. Race wise i was just thinking of going Half Fey Human.
