Hi all,

Quick question, does the Cubic Gate item allow the summoning aspect of the Gate spell?


So, for example, if the Gate is keyed to the Elemental plane of fire and I know the name of an Efreeti there, can I use the cube to summon that Efreeti?

Hmm in the absence of an answer I presume yes since nothing in the description says otherwise 😀

You'll have to expand your argument, in the absence of evidence to the contrary it seems that the item lets someone cast the Gate spell.


"You can use an action to press one side of the cube to
cast the gate spell with it, opening a portal to the plane
keyed to that side."
