WE ARE GOING TO ASSUME EQUAL COMBAT TRAINING WITH THERE RESPECTIVE EQUIPMENT
How good or close a fight is this ?

Disparate numbers for each . Lets say 1vrs 2 ?

Anyone ? (hears the crickets chirp but they leave as well WHAAAAAA:smallfrown: )
Here is a rifts conversion that Kituane made for a slammer blower tank
http://www.kitsune.addr.com/SF-Conversions/Rifts-Hammer-Vehicles/Hammer_M2_Ursa_Hovertank.htm
are there any good stat blocks for gundams using rifts ?
are there any good stat blocks for gundams using any system ?
Bonus points if you find conversions for both using ne game system ?
How would a Slammer Tank Stack against these types of threats
1 being the least threatening type of gundam
5 being the highest threat the gundamverse has to offer
Machine 1:
Top of the line space fighter/tank/ first generation real robot
Machine 2:
Standard real robot, GMs, Zakus and the like
Machine 3:
High End Real Robot, Gundam and such, first generation mobile armors
Machine 4:
Super High end Real Robot: Nu Gundam, High end Mobile Armors, Less powerful Super Robots
Machine 5:
Really over the top Super Robots,

Personally, I think the Hammer's Slammers Blower Tanks wouldn't fare too well vs Gundams. It would be like Battletech all over again, vehicles just can't compete against 'Mechs. Gundams are just too mobile and too versitile. Yes, the Blower Tanks can achieve high speeds on the straightaway, but a Gundam can jump over a Blower Tank and fire down on the now unprotected crew.
Mind you, if a Blower Tank actually hit a Gundam, that gundam would know he'd been hit... and if they coordinate with their artillary pieces to call in the heavy fire, that Gundam is toast. Hammer's Slammers are so nasty not just because their equipment is scary, but because they are Disciplined and work together. Also, Streuben and the White Mice would have a much better chance taking out Gundams, but you specified average abilities, not the elites.

A few things would matter for this. One is range. The Slammer's tanks can track and knock out satellites so given sufficient distance could probably kill a Gundam before they know what hit them. In a closer battle of say 5 kilometers I would go for the Gundam winning because of its greater mobility and speed. A good gunner/driver team would probably be able to take out a Gundam in close range if the two worked by having the driver maneuver the entire body of the tank towards the Gundam while the gunner harassed it with the 3cm tribarrels till they could fire a main round at it. Maybe.

Yea, if the blower tank can lock up the Gundam, the Gundam is screwed. But the Gundam can play hide and seek very effectively, and is extremely mobile, making it a hard target. Satellites are easy targets, they're on a ballistic course any high school student can calculate and project to intersection point. Gundams have evasive maneuvers.
Now here's a question:
Blower Tank vs Atlas. The 3 cm tri's are nasty. So are PPC's. Mech armor is unbelievabally insane. If you say a 3 cm is like an AC/20 for punch, you still need several good hits to take down an atlas. And the PPCs are going to be doing obnoxious things to the blower tank in the process.

Yea, but the tanks need to be hit with either relativistic missiles or at least a 15cm powergun just to crack the armor IIRC. So if thats the case the mech might not stand much chance. Though it is probably more accurate to compare the fully charged PPC to a 20 cm powergun than to the tribarrel's 3 cm whereas minimal charge is closer to the 3cm. Still, the tank wins in a distance slug match or in a suprise calvary charge, and loses in a close combat knife fight or a mobility battle.
Now the combat cars probably have a slightly better chance if say in an urban enviroment simply because they are more mobile and can cover itself better, though I doubt they have sufficent firepower to do a headstrong charge.
