This appears to feature the first picture of a Halfling that won't haunt my dreams.

I like the fact that after all these years halflings seem to have convinced someone to make shoes in their size or tecvh them to do so. I freaking love that it doesn't go into detail about halflings in waterdeep vrs halflings in the sword coast or something as well. It will be very nice to have setting neutral writeups on races for a change. Mordenkainen dismissing the superstitions & such in the footnote is nice too.

Sounds like they took the good part of kender too, with the emphasis on how halfling's innocence is a good portion of their luck.

I like that "everything has a story" bit, that can lead to some really interesting places.

Also, it looks like there may be more halfling dieties in the superstition sidebar. I'd be interested reading about them
