So with Arcane Trickster you can use controlling your mage hand as a bonus action.

Is there any reason you couldn't use this to steal potions and scrolls off a bad guys belt? How about planting an alchemist's fire on your belt that you archer could target? What about planting rocks in their backpack until they are encumbered and only get half movement per turn?

What else could you do with this during combat?

Cover/Uncover light sources to mess with the enemy
Steal key to bindings/cell of a prisoner during a fight
Deliberately set off a trap you had avoided because the bad guys are now in range
Throw flammable items onto an existing fire to make it worse
Douse a fire with sand or water
Lock/Bar a door so reinforcements take longer to arrive

More DM depedent
Unbuckle a weapons belt/quiver/bandolier
Tie someones bootlaces together so they trip
Cover a person with a tapestry or other drapery to blind them momentarily

Not in combat... But druid 1 / arcane trickster x
Step 1 Summon mage hand turn 1 (lasts a minute)
Step 2 Turn into a rat turn 2 (hour timer) action
Step 3 Carry yourself up 30 ft with bonus action. You now have 8 turns of 60 ft (action and bonus) fly a turn before you should be able to have a flight speed.
Step 4 profit?

Lv 4 characters.
Dm: the wounded and dying big bad laughs as he flies across the canyon. Mwahahaha.
You: how wide is the canyon?
Dm: 400 ft.
You: ok. I summon mage hand, palm up, an inch from the ground.
Dm: ok..
You: I wildshape into a rat.
Dm: alright...
You: I jump on the mage hand and ride across. Mwahahahah
Dm: rocks fall, everyone dies.

Doesn't wildshape require Druid 2 though?
