How do I get a profile picture?

I don't understand how this works. I may not be the biggest poster but I've been a member here for over 10 years, and am getting sick of not having one. The faq gives me useless links. Every other forum I have ever gone to makes it easy to upload one, but I have no clue what do do there.

Go to settings.

Go to General Settings.

Ctrl-F for "Custom Avatar URL:"

Then, put in the link to your image of choice.

Easy-peasy.

Also, I don't think you're supposed to consistently use anything besides the default font.

Thank you. I thought it was harder than that. Huh.

Anyway, no, it's not against the rules. I've used this font for almost every single post I've ever made. It if was against the rules, I would be perma-banned at this point. It's not even against the rules to use colour text (assuming it's not a colour that is hard on the eyes), although it can give you problems if you do it.

EDIT: I cannot believe how much trouble I had finding this thread again. I keep going right for Profile. It's really hard if you don't know what you are doing. On top of that I couldn't even find this post when searching. It was in 2018? Huh. I thought it was 2019.
