Character idea but I need help!

Okay, so, as cheesy as this sounds, I really want to make a character in D&D that is as similar to Kratos from the new God of War as possible. I'm just not sure how to go about it.

Would he be a fighter? An axe-and-board barbarian?

Would he dual wield with the return of the Chaos Blades?

Maybe he's a multiclass character?

I'd really like if someone could help me optimize this!

Berserker or Zealot Barbarian would work, yeah, maybe multiclassed with Fighter (Champion if you take enough levels for a subclass). Don't forget to take Tavern Brawler.
