Would I be able to be Weapon Focus Natural weapon Claws and still fit the pre reqs? Since claws count as a melee weapon?

Claw or Talon
The creature rips with a sharp appendage, dealing piercing and slashing damage.
Natural Weapon (Claws) count as slashing melee weapons, so that's an emphatic yes.

I was aware is was slashing and should let me. I just also know some DMs as well as how somethings are worded always seem to be "hey i know this works "but" we actually meant this" lol
