An Aasimar Shephard Circle Druid in Curse of Strahd is multiclassing Cleric with Death Domain. Should he take his Cleric dip at level 2 or 3?
Level 2 dip: gain early access to Radiant damage, detect undead, and an additional 5 spells prepared. More utility vs undead, and can prepare ritual spells W/O sacrificing utility
Level 3 dip: get Shepherd Circle and Wildshape at level 2. More general utility, may see issues vs early undead
The group has:
Goblin Samurai (duelist)
Human Draconic bloodline Sorcerer (all spells use saves due to player's horrible luck with dice lol)
Human Ranger (sharpshooter): took all the same proficiencies as me -.- lol
