So this is a thing people do, right? Turn their old characters into boss battles yes?

Now that I'm more experienced however, I'm looking to turn this old character concept into something new and exciting as part of an arena match for my players. The initial revised version of the character would be the following:
Aleran (Male Human) NG
Wizard 1 (UA Conjuration Variant)/Druid 3/Mystic Theurge 4/Arcane Hierophant 10/Mystic Theurge 2
Prohibited Schools: Necromancy/Enchantment
Feats
1: Celestial Summoning Specialist (PH)
H: Precocious Apprentice (CArc)
W: Augment Summoning (PHB1)
3: Celestial Companion (Encyclopedia Arcane: Conjuration, by Mongoose Publishing)
6: Practiced Spellcaster (CArc)
9: Celestial Focus (Encyclopedia Arcane: Conjuration, by Mongoose Publishing)
12: Purify Spell (BoED)
15: Exalted Companion (BoED)
18: Natural Bond (CAdv)
Aleran's primary tactic is to summon hordes of celestial creatures and elementals with Summon Monster and Summon Nature's Ally while channeling a Planetar that was called for free using the Planar Ally spell that his Celestial Companion feat gives him. Alternately, he can just Gate in a Solar or something, and channel that, but the idea is that he's a summoner working for the Celestial Realms who empowers himself using the celestial beings that he summons, with a unicorn mount acting as an emergency healer.
