Logan was a professor of some sort at Xavier school of gifted youngsters, but I never knew what subject he used to teach

Gym class?Heh. This is funny because Hugh Jackman taught Gym prior to his acting career taking off.

Of course, knowing Wolverine as I do, I'm going to suggest he taught short division.

Gym sounds plausible.

I could also see him run a special class on dangerous powers. Some of the young mutants have powers that definitely aren't safe, so who better to teach them how to control those that the guy with unbreakable bones who can walk off a nuke? I mean you shoot Wolverine in the face with an overpowered energy blast and he gets angry. You shoot Cyclops and he gets dead. Plus Wolverine does have a bit of a soft spot for helping young people figure themselves out.

Theater. In addition to his natural grace and poise, Logan has an incredible deadpan and won't break character for anything.

He also reminds me of that one guy from Oklahoma. Or maybe it was Les Miserables. The Boy from Oz, perhaps? I might be mixing up my actors.

History, clearly.

"Logan, we need to talk. All your course evaluations complain that your lessons are oddly specific. Can you teach history of things that you didn't directly observe?

Well... He does speak a dozen different languages, so maybe that?

Actually, yes.

Also hand to hand combat.

He was headmaster for a while as well. Probably didn't enjoy that much, given that it was after AvsX and he was conclusively on the wrong side of that, being Mutant Judas and all.

"Bub, that'd be like asking the Web-Head to teach Ethics without mentioning the time his Uncle died."

(Note: Spider-Man actually did teach Ethics to the Special Class for one semester in the Spider-Man and The X-Men miniseries. Hellion was mildly OOC but Glob, Rockslide, Shark Girl, Eye-Boy, Earnst, and No-Girl all got more characer development in six issues than they did in the previous hundred issues of the main X-Men titles.)

To be fair, by the time he was Headmaster the school had been renamed the Jean Grey Institute so he technically wasn't headmaster of the Xavier school.
