I sort of relegated what is going on for the players in my post (its about mechanus and some effects it would have in the dungeon, if you care)

Can I get some clockwork based items for my players? Nothing above rare, please, they're only 7th level, and already have some rares.

If you have a bursting puzzle that you think would be cool, I'd like to hear it, though the focus is items.

Just trying to give them memorable stuff, because they're already pretty rich, and have grown bored with gold....

On another note, if your players are complacent(i.e. "too rich") then its time for a heist or some good old fashioned embezzlement that makes it look like one of the party did it.

Back in 3.5 I had a character that specialized in magic item crafting and specifically clockwork stuff as he was native to the mechanus.

I got a ton of great stuff from there. A lot of it could definitely be ported over to 5e. I'm especially fond of the universal key, clockwork armor, and cyran gliding boots.
