So I stumbled upon the FB group for Gaslands and have been pulled straight in. The game was recently released from Osprey, and for a war game it is pretty straight forward on the rules. The game was designed to use standard 1/64 cars, aka hotwheels or any of the other similar sized out there, you then add various weapons, armor, dozer blades, etc to properly Mad Max/Post Apocalypse them out and then take them to fight. A standard game is generally 2-4 cars per player.

There are a lot of different car types from motorcycles to pickup trucks, buggies and sports cars, even buses and war rigs (semi+trailer).

The movement is template based. It uses standard and non-standard D6s. There are 360 weapons, weapons with specific facing, dropped weapons, and of course the ability to ram your opponents to oblivion.

Game types include capture the flags, death races, brawls, and various other scenarios.

Here is some videos explaining the basics of play:

I don't have any pictures to share, but here are some other people have done:

As the FB group has shown... things can get a little crazy when you give wargamers/modelers access to models you can find at garage sales and on sale in your local grocery store

This looks super cool! My brother and I have played slimmed down 40k using green army men and hotwheels before, the vehicles rules from this are much more elaborate.
