Hi all,

I'm looking for some adventure paths/modules/whatever that take place in a desert setting.

My issue with a lot of the printed stuff is that 80% of it seems to consist of robbing tombs/pyramids, whereas I'm more interested in the desert survival/exploration aspect of it. Less Indiana Jones/The Mummy, more Dune.

I'm aware of Dark Sun, but that's a whole new campaign setting with non-standard races, gods, etc. I think arcane/divine magic even works entirely differently in Dark Sun. I'd prefer something a little more... flexible, which can easily slot into any Pathfinder or 5e game.

Thanks!

The rule set exist why not just start the game this way.

Your characters have arrived into a town. That night a prominent citizen is murdered. The local authorities nail you with the murder.

They say keep your mouth shut we know you did not do it. But we do not want anybody else to know. You are our scapegoat. They give you an escorts out of town under the cover of darkness. You are told you escaped. Or at least that's what the citizens believe.

Give them what ever equipment you think is needed. Walk then to the edge of the desert and tell them if they return they will be captured and killed. No trial.

Their turn starts now.
