How much do constructs weigh?

So we're trying to figure out how much our Artificer's Iron Defender weighs.

The description states that it's 75 gp for material. 75 gp of iron would be 750 pounds, which is quite heavy. We were wondering if there was a specific list somewhere of the actual weight of these things.

Well, an iron defender's not just a lump of iron. Like a warforged or similar organisms, there's wood, leather, and other stuff in there. From the picture, you can see it's not 100% solid either, there's some empty space in there.

iron defender looks to be the approximate size and general shape of the famous MIT cheetah robot dog. I don't think the materials you're using would be too different from theirs, so I'd ballpark it around the same weight: 70-75 pounds.
