Led Zeppelin isn't my favorite band, but it's still an amazing band. This is very much awesome. Damn, why don't I live in England?!

So... some random person had a conversation with one of the members who was possibly in a hurry to be somewhere, and based entirely on their word they make this grand announcement, without even talking to the people themselves? And most of the article is about one of their songs which, while a great song, isn't exactly hot-off-the-press news? :smallconfused: Ah, journalism at its most hard-hitting and investigative.

Without Bonham and his week-long drum solos, where's the fun!? :smalltongue:

Ok....so i'm going to admit it........ I do not like Led Zeppelin.
While i recognize they have incredible musical talent and gave alot to Rock & Roll, I just can't stand them.

Oh, and Robert Plant sounds like a kitty cat when he sings.

I saw the Page/Plant tour twice... it rocked! If they come state-side, I'll go see 'em again. Now if they could just convince David Gilmour to do the same thing... :smallamused:

will john bonham's son be playing drums? that would be cool.

im kinda bummed that i never got to see them live. seeing the great rock acts of history is like my number 3 reason to build a time machine.

I think I fixed your statement ;)

Anyway, yes, I am a diehard fan. I am wearing a Led Zeppelin t-shirt as I type this. I've been waiting for this for a while.

Alor, you just haven't heard the right songs. This makes me sad for you :(

If this is true, that would be incredible. Too bad I'd never be able to go to the show.

oohhhh yes i have, my freinds adore them . I've heard every album they have done, and pretty much non stop play on the radio.
I do like stariway (though like much of zeppelin , way overplayed) and cashmere.
I understand i'm in the minority here. Give me The Who any day over Zep

Zep rules, but Plant's voice is almost totally shot now. It's rather sad, but he had a great run in the greatest rock band ever.

Yay! :smalltongue:

Diehard fan? Very much so. Although Plant won't be as good with most of the songs as he used to be, Page will still be on top form, hopefully.

Agent Tester: Well, let's see here Mr. Sampson. On the driving portion you totaled every car but the one you were driving. On the pistol range you refused to use a gun, and, oh, ha, here's my favorite, on the written you drew the little guy with wings from the Led Zeppelin records.

Brock: Icarus. So, uh, what are trying to tell me here, little man, that you don't like Zep?

once again, the number 3 reason id build a time machine is to see all the great rock acts of the 20th century.

zep in 74 at madison square garden, woodstock, montery pop festival, the doors at the wiskey-a-go-go, aerosmith at the texas jamm in 76, queen at live aid, floyd in 69, beatles on the rooftop... oh, the list goes on and on.

I really want to know who's filling in for Bonham. I'm hoping it's Dave Grohl.

this will sell out within two minutes of going on sale.

after five minutes of tickets being on sale, there will be tickets on ebay for hundreds (possibly thousands) of pounds.

I think it's more likely that it's Jason Bonham, he's played with Zep the two other times they played post-Bonzo.

It just won't be the same without bonham. He was a heluva good drummer, one of the best in the buisness. His death was so tragic and its a shame that he had to give out to alchoholism :smallfrown:

Well I really want to go this show but i have no chance.

i heard about it on the Radio, it is Jason Bonham who is drumming for them.

To get tickets you have to enter a ballot then your name will get chosen randomly.

Theres something like 20,000 spaces and the site crashed in 3 minutes from when it opened because millions of poeple across the world went to enter the ballot.

Theres rumours of a tour afterwards, but it is only rumours.
