Hey guys last post got hijacked. Basically I知 looking for really OP builds designed specifically for small one shot combat scenarios. Between each fight we値l gain the benefits of a long rest, and we are allowed Magic Items. (1 Legendary, 2 Very Rare, 3 Rare, 4 uncommon and 5 common) I知 fine with any and all cheese however I don稚 really want to just polymorph into something and boom I知 done, and playing a champion fighter as fun as it is, is a tad boring after one or two fights. Show me what builds you can come up with guys :).

Druid 20.

Your subclass of choice is Circle of the Moon.

Spend two ASIs to max your Wisdom, the other three feats on things like Sentinel or Resilient that helps you in melee combat.

You'll have full casting with blasting, healing, summoning, buffing as you like and your wildshape makes you have infinite HP as well.

Dump both Strength and Dexterity since you'll always be wildshaped.

I have two cool build if you want (first build is also posted in your previous thread), but keep in mind your DM might find it a little OP. Especially because of the magic items.

First: Dragonborn, Paladin 19 (Oath of Ancients)/ 1 Warlock Hexblade (optional, you could also go 20 paladin if you like)

Feats (5 total):
Warcaster
Resilient Constitution
+4 Charisma
? (lucky is always good)

Items:
(A) Mask of the Dragon Queen (legendary): hence dragonborn
(A) Belt of Fire Giant Strength (very rare)
Weapon +3 (very are)
Shield +2 (rare)
Periapt of Proof Against Poison (rare)
Full Plate +1 (rare)
Bag of holding (uncommon)
Boots of Elvenkind (uncommon)
Cloak of the Manta Ray (uncommon)
(A) Dagger of warning (uncommon)

Stats:
STR 25 (11 + 2 racial becomes 25 due to belt)
DEX 10
CON 16 (15 + 1 feat)
INT 10
WIS 10
CHA 20 (15 + 1 racial, +4 feat)

AC = 28 (Full plate 19 + 5 cha + 4 shield). Could get it up to 33 with shield spell.

So what does this build do exactly? First off the mask of the dragonqueen is outrages. It gives you 5 legendary saves, ac bonus equal to your charisma, extended darkvision and resistance to: acid, fire cold, lightning and poison damage. What makes it even more insane, is that you get immunity if you already have resistance from another source.

This is were aura of warding makes it OP. If the damage comes from a spell, you have immunity to five damage types. Furthermore, you get a +5 bonus to all saves and so do all your allies within 30 feet. Additionally, take circle of power. This gives you advantage on all saves and it has an inbuild evasion for both dexterity and constitution saving throws. Again, this is for your allies as well.

So, you have advantage and a +5 bonus on saving throws and immunity to most common damage types and resistance to all spells. Together with evasion you take very little damage. Also, you have a base AC of 28 which is pretty good and you can稚 be surprised.

Beside all the goodies for you and your allies, you also have a +3 weapon and 25 Strength, making you able to do decent damage. You also have a fighting style and even if you drop 0 hp, you can choose to drop to 1 hp instead. I think your DM will have a hard time killing you with average monsters from the MM.

Second: Triton, Fighter Champion 17 / Barbarian (Bear Totem) 3

Feats (6 total):
+4 Strength
Lucky
Resilient Wisdom
Alert
Shield Master

Items:
(A) Sentient weapon Wave (legendary): hence Triton
(A) Spellguard Shield (very rare)
Half-Plate +2 (very are)
Cape of Mountebank (rare)
Periapt of Proof Against Poison (rare)
Bowl of Commanding Water Elementals (rare)
Bag of holding (uncommon)
Boots of Elvenkind (uncommon)
Goggles of the Night (uncommon)
(A) Winged boots (uncommon)

Stats:
STR 20 (15 + 1 race, +4 feat)
DEX 12
CON 16 (15 + 1 race)
INT 10
WIS 10 (9 + 1 feat)
CHA 10

AC = 20 (Half Plate 17 + 1 dex + 2 shield)

Your AC is a little weak, but on the upside you take half damage when raging. Although this isn稚 a glass cannon, its purpose is to do lots and lots of damage. It is build for single target dps, so leave aoe to casters. Your magic defense is pretty good as spellcasters have disadvantage against you and you have advantage on all saves. You need resilient wisdom in order not to get controlled or locked. Further, you cannot fly, so I gave winged boots for that, depending on how your DM judges a broom of flying you could also take that in order to free up an attunement slot.

The strength of this build? Every critical hit does damage equal to half the maximum hit points of the creature hit in necrotic damage (no save). You crit on 18+ and you can use action surge twice, although only once per turn. Moreover, you can get advantage on all your attacks because of barbarian. This means you have a 27,75% chance on rolling an 18 or higher. This is roughly once every four attacks and you can attack 6 times with action surge. Even more so when someone in the party has haste. Basically, you have a decent chance of killing a big boss in a single turn if you crit twice (assuming no resistance or immunity to necrotic damage). The bigger the enemy, the better this build gets. If you miss -> lucky!

A Tarrasque with a 1.000 hit points, so what. You crit twice and its down. You can skip shield master if you rather want another feat. I would keep alert, because going first can really be important with this build.
