I've seen a bunch of these, so I'll try to keep this short. I'm playing in an AL game, I'd like to make a Gloomstalker that uses the Shadow Blade spell as her primary weapon. I'm thinking Gloomstalker 5, then War Mage from there. High Elf, Str 8 Dex 17 Con 14 Int 16 Wis 13 Cha 8, Elven Accuracy at 4th for +1 Dex. War Mage gives me access to Shadow Blade at 3rd level (so 8 for my build, kinda late :/), Steel Wind Strike at 9th (14th), as well as a few other bonuses (reaction +2 AC or +4 ST, +2 AC & ST while concentrating on spell). I'm thinking defense fighting style for the extra +1 AC. Anything I can do to make this better without dipping into 5 different classes?
