I am not clear on how to apply this... I am sure it's in the rules and I am just missing it or not understanding it.
Say a dragon sets up a CHAIN LIGHTNING (spell) trap - that when triggered, unleashes a bolt of lightning striking the figure who steps on it - then any targets near by.
How is SAVINGS THROW applied to those who attempt to save against the spell from the trap?
Because it's not a caster, unleashing the spell - but the trap itself? Do they simply do the standard DEX savings throw that's mentioned in the spell description?
