Somewhere I believe on enworld, there was a listing of all the different weapons and damage types that they did from years ago. I am trying to google for it, but can't come up with the right 'word combination' to make it show up.

Specifically, trying to find out what page and book the ataghn is.

Can you guys help?

I've looked through several lists and didn't see that weapon or anything spelled anywhere close to that. Can you tell anything more about what it is and is it possibly spelled some other way?

One of those weapons that you can use as a shield or weapon and enhanced as either. Thing was you can attack with it and keep ( and also not need exotic proficiency to keep ) shield bonus to ac. The wording was also in such a way that it was a shield but not counted as a shield kinda like manople. Meaning a monk could use it for the shield bonus to ac and still be able to do unarmored AC, flurry, etc.

So I'm looking around for this thing and I find this thread (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-315257.html) where I find this quote.

Does pathfinder have a version of the ataghn from sandstorm? Was an exotic weapon that provided shield bonus and could be enhanced like a shield. Also, going by description it didn't count as a shield as far as FoB and such are concerned. Grated you lost use of that hand for stuff.

Which is funny because that was you posting it. However, I looked in Sandstorm and all I found was the manople.
An ataghan (https://www.thefreedictionary.com/ataghan) is a Turkish saber having a doubly curved blade and a hilt with no guard. Diablo 2 (http://diablo.wikia.com/wiki/Ataghan) has one in it.

I'm thinking either your memory mixed the two up or else it was in some third party source-book that isn't going to show up in most lists.

That is funny and I could have sworn I saw a ataghn aside from that. There is one other possiblity. There used to be a encyclopedia arcanus or some name like that batch of pdf files ( not crystalkeep ). Was a compilation of all the different spells, weapons, etc. There is a link for that anywhere still?

I think you're taking about the "EVD" by AwakenDMGolem if I'm not mistaken.

Which has been put up on Google Drive here (http://minmaxforum.com/index.php?topic=11953.msg204497#msg204497). Courtesy of Endarire.

Go down to Endarire's post (#3). The links above that are not good places to be (Damn glad I have top notch virus detection).

Ataghn is not there, at least I have not found it.

You sure this was D&D and not CoC where you read about this? Iä! Iä! Cthulhu ataghn!

Ahem. I would apologize, but I’m not even a little bit sorry.

Anyway, I’ve never heard of such a thing, but I don’t know much about content in Dragon Mag, so if it’s not just straight homebrew or content from a publisher that’s even less official than Dragon, it’s likely there. But you probably knew that already.

Based on your description, the closest 3.5 analogue I can think of is the dwarven buckler-axe from Races of Stone. Those things get interesting in the hands of an Ironsoul Forgemaster if you’ve got the right enhancements on them. Which is probably irrelevant to your specific build, but such is life.
