Let's say I have an Eldritch Knight 11/Wizard 9 character. His spell slots breakdown as 4/3/3/3/2/1/1.
As a Wizard the character memorizes fireball in the 7th level spell slot.
As an Eldritch Knight the character has shadow blade as one of his known spells.
Which of these is correct?
Scenario A:
The character can cast shadow blade using his 7th level spell slot, expending the memorized fireball in its place.
Scenario B:
The character cannot cast shadow blade using his 7th level spell slot, because it's already "reserved" for fireball.
