My DM has kind of pigeon holed me into being a planar champion after starting fighter...(for story purposes) and while I like what the planar champion does for the most part our DM tends to be a bit blood thirsty to our party, example- we are lvl 7 fighting an adult white dragon that is being commanded by a frost giant god. So I have 6 lvls fighter and 1 planar champion is there any way I can make this character a bit better for combat purposes. Please help I'm still pretty new to D&D.

What feats and gear do you have? You're probably screwed regardless (I take it that the GM is also pretty new?) but those are the angles of leverage for a fighter base.

Wow, hadn't really noticed this PrC before. Ouch.

I'm kind of surprised this hasn't been an Iron Chef ingredient, it's so lacklustre.

Your best bet is probably to load up on uber-charger feats (Power Attack, Improved Bullrush, Leap Attack, Shock Trooper), and try to somehow get a way to full attack on a charge. The usual method is a dip into Lion Totem Barbarian (CC), but sounds like the DM already has your class levels mapped out for you.

This recent thread on killing a red dragon may also have some hints (some are specific to reds, but there's also some general dragon-killing advice): Vassal of Bahamut (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?561732)

Now I'm wondering what happens if you turn your Unarmed Strike into a force weapon.

I would say 3 levels of PC is a good breakpoint to stop and do something else.
