I am looking to build a wizard who specializes in using the Fabricate spell during battle. So, I want him to have relatively high bonuses for all mundane craft skills. Are there any items that grant bonuses to all craft skills simultaneously? While this is mainly just a humorous idea, I would like to see what is possible with it if it were optimized. Could the fabricate specialist build siege weaponry from piles of debris in the middle of the battlefield? Are there any items or methods that reduce the casting time for the spell from one round per 10 cubic feet to one action? Is there a greater fabricate anywhere in published material?

The casting time is going to be the hardest thing to pull off in combat. The most straightforward combat option though is poison. Get a craft alchemy/poison check and just spam out super amounts of highly concentrated deadly poison over the battlefield. Minor Creation is still probably better for that since it doesn't cost anything but still.

As for greater fabricate there is a psionic power (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/powers/fabricateGreaterPsionic.htm) which goes by that name and works.

Rune Magic, Forgotten Realms.

It takes a divine caster and some way to get Fabricate on the divine list (Anyspell or Greater Anyspell would do it, or Alternative Source Spell from Dragon magazine), but a rune of a spell, per RAW, takes all the casting time of the spell at the point of creation of the rune. Activating the rune is a standard action (or, debatably, less), or no action if you turn it into its magic trap form and want people to trigger it "not on purpose". You generally activate the rune by touching it and it fires instantly - whoever touches the rune is the target of the spell, and if the spell targets objects, the object you touch with the rune is the target of the spell.

Rune magic requires that you make all selections required for the spell, so the rune has to be the Button of One Thing, but the cost for a permanent rune -- i.e. unlimited castings -- is around the formula of CL x spell level x 2,000, doubled if you want it to trigger whenever the rune is read or passed. So that would be a cost of 9 x 5 x 2,000 = 90,000, although a Runecaster with item creation feats could cut the cost, or indeed if you find a Runecaster with the right build (Ur-Priest).

Don't know if you can get an item that grants bonuses to all craft skills simultaneously, but a permanent rune of Guidance of the Avatar would do practically the same thing. Just touch it if you want a new +20 on a new skill, albeit this depends on the DM ruling that you don't have to select which skill you want to use at the time of casting the spell. That'd be much cheaper: CL x spell level x 2,000 = 3 x 2 x 2,000 = 12,000 gp.
