Has anyone played in a party with more than one bard? Does vicious mockery stack? How did it work out? Thanks

No, but you can Ready an Action.

So let's say Bard One has initiative count one, Bard Two has initiative count two, and Big Monster has multiattack and initiative count three.

Bard One uses her action to cast Vicious Mockery on Big Monster, which fails its save.
Bard Two Readies an Action to cast Vicious Mockery after Big Monster makes an attack.
Big monster makes its first attack with disadvantage, then Bard Two casts Vicious Mockery again.

So it stacks like that.

From what I've experienced with bards there won't be any combat anyway. Every boss will be subdued through seduction.

I want to play an entire band of Bards. I think it would be awesome. One of each flavor would be best.

How about cutting words? Can 2 bards hit same bbeg?

Cutting Words adds a numerical penalty to a given roll, and I don't see any reason why multiple Cutting Words wouldn't stack, as long as they come from different bards.

That’s actually pretty astoundingly good on single attack critters

Hah! A "greek chorus" party. You should emulate those elderly muppets, Statler & Waldorf, and be a peanut gallery whose snark actually does harm. :smallcool:
