...but then you're miraculously saved.

Anyone experience one of those? I did just recently. I was going through my computer files trying to find a VERY important file. I couldn't find it and thought it might be gone forever. Luckily I put it on a flashdrive some time ago so the file was saved. Crisis averted.

How about you all?

Between my commute and my work that's most days.

I'm sure it happens to everyone all the time, to be honest. Just the other day I was driving down a road that had a small kink of a corner in it, and a Land Rover driver paying no attention didn't go round the corner as he should, so he came over to my side of the road and was heading straight for me. I had a couple of seconds of panic to try and figure out what to do when the other driver looked up, realised his problem, and swerved back onto his side of the road.

When I have been away from home for months, and then suddenly I realize that, for all this time, I did not instruct anyone for feeding and caring about my pet, and then I remember that I don't have a pet.

More seriously, when I have been away from home for months, did not instruct anyone to let water flow from the sink once in a while, but there has been no legionnaire's disease outbreak when I come back.

Yesterday I was leaving in my car from the parking lot near work, and some (likely homeless) guy asked me for $3.50 for Subway. I gave him an energy drink and let him know that I do not have any money. This morning I pulled into my parking spot, and he came running over to ask me for $2.50 for the train. He then said that I looked angry (I was confused). I then told him that I way not angry, that I was confused, that did not have any money, and he went away quickly.

I hope that he does not vandalize my car.

I went to the store the other day to buy some junk food. I spent about $8 and had some reservations about it. Though in the parking lot I found a $20 bill. A net gain of $12! If I never went to the store I never would have found the money! I got junk food and earned a profit. I should play the stock market. I bet I'd get all the money and unhealthy food. Hooray for gluttony!
