View Full Version : List of magic items for 3rd / 3.5 / Pathfinder?

I am currently making a comprehensive magic item list, consisting of 2nd, 3rd, 3.5, 4th and 5th edition. The plan is to use it in a high level campaign as a random loot generator. So far I have around 10.000 magic items for 2nd edition (encyclopedia magica v. 1 -4), I also have 4.200 items from 4th and roughly 600 items from 5th. As for 3rd I 'only' found two lists each containing roughly a 1.000 items maximum. Seeing how 3rd, 3.5 and pathfinder have been around for a long time, there should be many more magical items available.

So my question is: Does anyone have a large list of magic items somewhere for 3rd, 3.5, pathfinder or a combination of those editions?

Any help is appreciated!

For Pathfinder, you could probably start the list from this page (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/) (if you haven't already).

The problem with the 3.5 magic items list is that (other than what's in the SRD (http://www.d20srd.org/indexes/magicItems.htm)) the forums here are very cautious about what you can repost (as far as OGL versus non-OGL content goes). There is a List of Necessary Magic Items (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?187851-3-5-Lists-of-Necessary-Magic-Items) on the boards already. If you're putting together a more comprehensive list, I'd suggest getting a copy of the Magic Item Compendium and looking for some of the tables in the back. It's not totally comprehensive - just about every sourcebook has at least a few extra magic items in it - but it's got a whole bunch of them all in one place.
