Good Artificer Class

So I am hoping to play an artificer for my next game. I found the UA artificer but I feel it is a bit lacking. It doesn't have spells listed from XGtE. Also I wish to play the alchemist subclass but it doesn't really have interesting powers. Are there any other good Artificer write ups out there? I will have to get it approved by my dm so it has to be reasonable. Thanks

Homebrewery has a revised version of the printed UA that fixes most of its problems. I allow it in my games.

Came out before XGtE, so those spells aren't in there, but it's a good start.
