I’m DMing 2 players starting in LMoP soon. Here is the party:
Half-elf lore bard
Forest gnome AT rogue
Wood elf ancients paladin (DMPC)
(Ability scores higher than standard)
I’m trying to come up with some relevant encounters prior to reaching the cave. Hoping to get them around 600 additional exp total, which will put them at 2nd level when they enter the cave.
All I’ve come up with is some saboteurs in Neverwinter hired by Cragmaws and a scouting party encounter near the cave. Both seem uninspired and lazy.
Something that ties to the adventure is nice but even an unrelated side quest is fine.
Any ideas?
