Hi all!
I was wondering: if I, as a paladin with a mount with whom i can share spells, have a magic item which works by casting a spell (such as a Invisibility ring or a Spell storing ring), do I share the effect with the mount?

Thanks all.

As long as the paladin is considered to be casting the spell, they can share the effect with their mount. I'm not 100% clear on whether you just need to be considered the caster for the purpose of the effect (as for a scroll of animate dead, which grants you control over the undead, not the creator of the scroll), or you actually need to burn the spell slot, but I'd tend towards the former. That would let you use Share Spells with spells cast from scrolls, wands, staves, and potions.
