Suppose someone is under a geas. Then he gains mind-affecting immunity later. What happens to that geas? Does it still work? Does it still exist, but is suppressed? Does it vanish?

Immunity universal monster rule is as follows"A creature with immunities takes no damage from listed sources. Immunities can also apply to afflictions, conditions, spells (based on school, level, or save type), and other effects. A creature that is immune does not suffer from these effects, or any secondary effects that are triggered due to an immune effect."

If a creature under a geas becomes immune to mind affecting effects, the geas is immediately suppressed. The creature was a valid target when it was cast and the immunity might not be permanent, so it is reasonable to say the geas is in place but the creature is not affected by it. Immunity does not dispel the effect in place, so I would suppose it stays.

It would also depend on the source of the immunity. Protection from (X) spells give this kind of immunity and explicitly state they do not dispel the effect, only suppress.

Exist but suppressed (no effect) until such time as one or the other ends.
