Hi Playground,

Not sure if this is the exact forum to post this in, but I feel like it's worth the shot. If this is better moved elsewhere, let me know.

The case of Carrie Beckwith-Fellows has recently come to my knowledge via Facebook, and I felt the need to spread the awareness. Summarising the link below, she has a condition where her spine is slowly being driven into her skull due to lack of connective tissue, and needs to raise 10,000 pounds to pay for the surgery that is not covered by the NHS, with a deadline of September 1st. Her GoFundMe page lists minimum donation at 5 GBP, so a $10 CDN would be enough to make the donation minimum and GoFundMe's percent donation.

While 1 donation of that size is not going to tip the scales, quantity carries its own quality. I know not everyone who reads this is in a position to donate, but perhaps you will know those that can. It isn't a glorious charity, but it can still save a life.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Mith
