Quicken Spell combos with rings of spell storing

So, I have a question I was hoping to get some help with. Lets say there's a wizard with the quicken spell feat, and a ring of spell storing. Could the wizard use a quickened spell and use the ring to cast two spells against two different targets?

For example, quickened mind fog to give a target a penalty to Will saves, and release a stored Dominate Person on a major spell storing ring to dominate another subject.

Yes, that's possible to do.

Using the ring uses up your standard action. You can still use your swift action to cast a quickened spell or a normal swift action spell(like Swift Fly or Blood Wind).
