Hey everybody, I know that most of you all won't be from around the little town that I'm from, but if you are close enough we are starting what we hope to be an annual con to raise money for a couple of charities. Anyway, if you're interested check it out.

It would be helpful if you'd post a little more information, such as what state (or country) your convention is in, and what kind of convention it is. I assume that information is in your link, but it would make more sense to give a little more information in your post.

For example, "ExampleCon is taking place next month in Wyoming! We plan to have lots of gaming and also an art show. Monies raised will go to support the local senior center." would attract a different group of people to check out your link than "ExampleCon is taking place next month in Kentucky! We plan to have a variety of panels about both SF and Mystery books, and also a dance! Monies raised will go to support the children's hospital." or "ExampleCon is taking place next month in Alaska! We plan to have 2 viewing rooms of anime all weekend and also a costume contest! Monies raised will go to support local library services."
