What would happen if portions of the Wall of Water spell intersect with an existing Wall of Fire spell?

They're both evocation spells, so the source of the energy is from magic itself. Without putting out the sources, the spells still stay in effect.

Effectively, you'd have a section of wall(s) that'd be boiling water, having all of the benefits of the Wall of Water, but dealing half fire damage from Wall of Fire (due to the fire damage clause of Wall of Water).

Remember that both spells are only a foot thick, so the depth of this intersection won't be much. Wall of Fire is also interesting in that only one side of the foot-thick panel is actually dangerous while the other is harmless, so it's worth considering how you plan on having that play out.

Nothing. They just can't occupy the same space.

Wall of Water isn't affected by fire, and Wall of Fire isn't affected by water (at least, not in the quantities given).

Half damage would only be if you're in the Wall of Water while under the effect of the Wall of Fire's area.

RAW, nothing really. If you're talking about making a DM judgment, it would be pretty cool if a fog cloud filled the area while both walls were up, from the evaporating water. If you're asking 'who would win', it would probably be the wall of fire, since it's a higher level spell.
