Twinned Enlarge/Reduce

Say a Sorcerer wanted to Enlarge a party member and Reduce himself with a twinned casting of the Enlarge/Reduce spell.

Is there any reason per RAW that it wouldn’t work?

It works just fine that way by RAW.

When casting Enlarge/Reduce, you chose a target to grow Larger or Smaller.

By the Raw definition, choosing Upscaling or Downscaling the targer kicks in After choosing a (seccondary) target, thus you would be able to do both.

At least that's how I understand the RAW of it.
