3.5 cohort for a rogue

I just took leadership for the first time and was wandering what cohort class and race would fit best with my Close Quarters meele heavy rogue. Please include your reasoning

What sources are available, and what does the rest of your party already consist of?

As Telonius requested, more party info would help. However, another melee rogue would make for flanking fun.

Cleric for buffs, with Trickery domain so they're moderately stealthy and don't give you away. Clerics are also sturdy enough to give you a flank if you need it.
