dwarven fighter/warlock/bard

Race: Duergar

Stats w/racials: 15 10 15 8 12 16

Level 1: Fighter (Athletics & Survival proficiencies, heavy armor, str and con save profs, defense fighting style)
Level 2: Hexblade Warlock (Spells ??)
Level 3: Bard (Perception proficiency, spells ??)
Level 4: Bard
Level 5: Bard (College of Swords, dueling fighting style, Athletics & Perception expertise)
Level 6: Bard (+2 Cha ASI getting to 18)
Level 7: Bard
Level 8: Bard (Extra attack, etc)
Level 9+: ?????

My biggest concern is obviously with any multiclass the delay in levels. If I were to do it differently I'd just drop the Fighter level and concentrate on Warlock/Bard. I'm not 100% committed to going Bard 18. I think maybe getting another Fighter level for Action Surge at some point is viable and also maybe taking Warlock to 5 for other stuff. Leaving me with 13 Bard levels and 7th level spells.

Any thoughts, additions, or criticisms? Also any suggestions for spells would be welcome as I've never ran a Bard.

Edit: Original stat block is 16 14 13 12 10 8 if anyone cares to move stuff around.

Actually the more I think about it the more I think I'm staying with Warlock on levels 3 - 6. Getting to 2nd attack as quickly as I can. From there one of the Bard colleges.
