If your a thrallerd and take on symbiotes that are your thrall. Would you still use there stats (int,Wis,Cha)?

What about turning them to be undead and controlling them?

Hivenest?

More then one symbiotes?

Basically is there a way to not use there stats?

Were you thinking about any symbionts in particular?
Are you trying to get rid of their ability scores to avoid Ego score interaction?

Would they even have an ego score if they were some how not in control

1. Their, not there.
2. What, precisely, do you even mean by 'use their stats'? A symbionts stats usually aren't particularly relevant.

The template says you must use their stats

The template says you must use their stats

Ah, gotcha. You really, really could have been clearer with what you meant. I thought you were referring to the Eberron-style symbionts that are basically equipment that might get uppity. You instead ment the Symbiotic Template, from Savage Species.

Yes, you use the Guest's mental stats, regardless of the status of the Guest.

If a Guest is undead, it would be an invalid creature to apply the Template to, so that's a no go. However, even assuming you ignored that, it still wouldn't provide a way around the Abilities entry.

Again, having the base creature be a Hivenest doesn't get around this in any way.

You can't apply the Symbiotic template to more than two creatures, and a Symbiotic pair can't have the Symbiotic template applied again because they become Aberrations, which the template can't be applied to.

So, there isn't. 'the mental scores of the guest' is a hard and fast rule.

Edit your original post to say Symbiotic Creature Template. People will know what you're asking, and be much more willing to answer.
I had no clue you were talking about the template.
