I added the Celia, Shojo, and Hinjo smilies.

Someone should make a compilation of unofficial OotS similes.

I really hope this stops the threads.

It won't. It won't even stop the debates here because...

:mitd: MitD has been consistantly mentioned as being male throughout the comic. Unless he's a creature that has no gender, it's simpler to assume that he is male.

Ah, the famous Redcloak comment. Alright, I'll make the MitD make then.

Hmmm... I think Xykon is n/a now. He was male, but now...? Does it matter for the undead? I think their gender is the same as their constitution-score.

He still counts as male in the same way as action man.

Not for vampires.

And even skeletons show different physical gender traits (hipbone that is)

I would like to add that :belkar: isn't male, he is MANLY (bold and in italics and capital letters)

Why? He can still get a BXXXX.

Roy is not male throughout the entire strip  might want to mention that.

It matters. Ever heard of a little feat called 'Lich Loved'? :smallamused:

There never was an "official" Hinjo smiley, just the one someone else made for his fan club. And the Celia and Shojo ones were made the same way. Rich only made the ones you see in the smiley window when you post.

It won't.

Yeah, also people dont actually make the threads because they want to find out, they post because they think it's a HILARIOUS new joke :smallsigh:

Rejoice all, for I have found the smiley thread! (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34131) Edit: Search through the latter parts of the thread, the OP stopped updating it.

It seems to matter to Tsukiko.

And this is why the gender threads will never stop, cause somewhere, for somereason, someone will pop up thinking they have "solved" the mystery of V's gender, despite the fact that the fact that we don't know V's gender is part of the running gag behind the character and as such the giant isn't going to give us any REAL clue as to what the gender is.

Do we have positive proof of Mr. Scruffy's gender?

I know the name is masculine, but I've met several cats whose names do not align with their physical gender. (I own one myself, due *ahem* some confusion when she was a kitten.)

Of course, cats don't care if their human names don't match with their gender, since all cats have a special secret name that is known only to themselves.

Actually, I remember someone bringing up some graphical evidence, citing how the eyeline of the Giant's male characters matches that of V's. I have yet to see this one refuted.

Oh, that one's easy. We ALL know that Rich INTENDED V to originally be male. Hence phrases like "V-man" in the early strips. But he deliberately obfuscated it later on. ;) V WAS originally male. But now he is officially ambiguous, graphical evidence notwithstanding.
