Rule Check - Evasion & Medium Armor

So I have a character idea forming in my head for a half-orc rogue, and I want to make him more STR focused, so I want to snag Moderately Armored on him. As far as I can see in Evasion's block, it doesn't mention certain types of armor stopping it from working (unlike in 3.5, where only unarmored or light armored characters could use it.)

So can I still make use of Evasion while wearing Medium Armor?

You can, yes. Evasion works all the time, regardless of what armor you're wearing.

If you don't mind some MC, you can get medium armor from a ranger / fighter / barbarian / paladin dip. All add different flavor to your rogue.

I'm too much of a class purist for multiclassing, plus with the standard array and feet plans, grabbing Moderately Armored (Dex) will get me up to the +2 Dex cap for medium armor, which multiclassing wouldn't do.

Starting as a mountain dwarf will also get that medium armor
