Because the Marut has no Con score, regeneration would make it invulnerable to damage (because it can't take nonlethal damage) except what bypasses its regeneration.

Made it so that light axes will damage it normally through DR because they don't do much damage normally. Also, hitting it with baleful polymorph could work as well which keeps true to the above spoilered strategy in a way as well.


Instead of relying on a fragile justification and mechanical acrobatics, change regen. to Self Repair or something and throw away the light axes clause.
