Eldritch Researcher(Wizard Archetype)

Casting: The eclectic researcher may combine spheres and talents to produce wondrous effects. She is considered to be a High-Caster, using her Intelligence as her casting ability modifier.

(Note: All casters gain 2 bonus talents, and may choose a casting tradition, upon first gaining the casting class feature.)

Spell Pool: The eldritch researcher gains a small reservoir of energy she can call on to create truly wondrous effects, called a spell pool. This pool contains a number of spell points equal to her level + her Intelligence modifier (minimum 1). This pool replenishes once per day after roughly 8 hours of rest.

Magic Talents: An eldritch researcher gains 1 magic talents at every odd level.

Research Tome (Ex): An eldritch researcher gains the Craft Ritual, Spellcrafting, and Create Spellbook feats as bonus feats at 1st level. If DM provides these as free feats you do not gain any additional feats. The eclectic researcher also gains the effects of the Focus Casting drawback, but not the benefits, treating their spell books as their focus. This cannot be combined with the Focus Casting drawback. This tome is the a compilation of notes on magic and contains their proxy talents. Each talent takes up 1 page in the tome. Proxy Talents can be added to the tome in the same way adding spells to a spellbook, requiring aid of someone with the talent or a copy of a ritual or spell that uses the talent. Adding a talent cost 50g per page. A talent requires one page plus one per prerequisite beyond the first sphere.

The eldritch researcher losses access to all their proxy talents if they lose their Research Tome.

Proxy Magic Talents: The eldritch researcher adds 2 proxy magic talents to their research rome. Proxy Magic talents do not grant the ability to utilize the talent but do grant access to anything requiring the talent as a prerequisite such as spellcasting, ritual creation, and spell creation.

The Wizard loses the spells, arcane bond, and arcane school class features.

Designer Note: This was made as a way to make a spell designer character within the sphere system while not over granting sphere powers.
